My tree surgeon journey started in 2009 as an apprentice with a small domestic tree company. In 2015 I joined a local councils tree team, gaining experience in the commercial side of tree work. In 2017 I then joined a larger tree firm, working on large domestic and commercial jobs, becoming fully qualified and working on a number of different contracts around the UK. Such as British Telecom, Environment Agency & Network Rail. In this time I gained experience in climbing and performing large tree removals and reductions, also with the use of large mewps/cherry pickers. In 2021 I decided to become a freelance/subcontracting climber allowing me to build and grow my own company Red Kite Tree & Hedge Services.
